Path traversal in Mobile Security Framework (MobSF) 4.4.0 allows remote authenticated users to read server files via GET /download/. The download handler accepts an absolute filename, and is_safe_path compares normalized paths with os.path.commonprefix, which treats sibling directories sharing the DWD_DIR string prefix as descendants. Exploitation requires an authenticated session, a matching-prefix sibling directory, and an allowed file extension; exposed files are read without write or service-interruption impact.
