Authenticated order disclosure via unchecked order key
Published Jul 18, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in Biteship Shipping 3.2.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to view other users' order details. The get_order_detail() handler accepts a user-controlled order key and returns the referenced order without validating that it belongs to the requester. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of another customer's order information.
