Authenticated SQL execution via unvalidated RDL queries
Published Mar 18, 2026 · Updated Mar 18, 2026
SQL injection in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (on-premises) 1612 (9.0.2.3034) allows remote authenticated users to execute SQL. The report upload path accepts an RDL dataset whose CommandText runs attacker-controlled dynamic SQL through SQL Server Reporting Services without query validation. A user needs report-upload privileges, or access to an already loaded malicious report, and execution occurs with the reporting service account's database permissions.
