Unauthenticated remote reset via embedded web server
Published Nov 14, 2025 · Updated Nov 17, 2025
Missing authentication in the embedded web server in General Industrial Controls LYNX+ Gateway allows remote attackers to reset the device. The reset function accepts a network request without requiring a provable user identity; CISA has not disclosed the request path or parameters. Network access to HTTP is sufficient in Versions R08, V03, V05, and V18, and a successful reset interrupts gateway service.
