Authenticated creation of malicious applications
Published Oct 16, 2025 · Updated Oct 16, 2025
Improper alternate-path protection in desknet's NEO AppSuite V4.0R1.0 through V9.0R2.0 allows remote authenticated users to create malicious apps. The vendor identifies the locus as AppSuite's application-creation function but withholds the alternate path and the operation that fails to protect it. A valid desknet's NEO login is required; successful exploitation lets that account create an unauthorized AppSuite application and affects integrity only.
