OS command injection in Fortinet FortiWeb allows remote authenticated users to execute code via crafted HTTP requests or CLI commands. The policy_scripting_post_handler method passes a user-supplied string to a system call without validating command elements. Administrative credentials are required; successful commands run as root and can read or alter appliance data, configuration, and service state.
