Contributor-level script execution via undisclosed DOM handling
Published Sep 22, 2025 · Updated Sep 22, 2025
DOM-based XSS in AYS Pro Poll Maker 6.0.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a privileged user's browser. Patchstack has not disclosed the affected client-side code path, untrusted value, or DOM sink that fails to neutralize script content. Contributor-level access initiates the attack, and successful exploitation requires a privileged user to open crafted content; the script then runs in that user's browser context.
