API-key disclosure via unrestricted client-side exposure
Published Sep 22, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Sensitive-data exposure in Ideal Postcodes UK Address Postcode Validation 3.9.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to obtain its API key. The plugin places the configured public API key in data sent to unauthenticated storefront clients, where it can be copied and reused from another domain. Default keys have an empty Allowed URLs restriction, so exposed keys can be used without authentication to consume the account's lookup credits.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
