Authenticated crash via oversized redirect URL
Published Jun 6, 2025 · Updated Jun 6, 2025
Buffer overflow in the HTTP POST handler in TOTOLINK EX1200T 4.1.2cu.5232_B20210713 allows remote authenticated users to cause a crash. The /boafrm/formWlanRedirect route passes an oversized attacker-controlled redirect-url value to sub_4448C8 without safely bounding the input, overflowing a memory buffer. A valid sessionCheck value is required, and the published proof of concept establishes device denial of service rather than code execution.
