Administrator-level stored XSS via unsanitized input
Published Sep 22, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in Dialogity Free Live Chat 1.0.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts into WordPress pages. The plugin stores input without sufficient sanitization and renders it without sufficient output escaping, although public records do not identify the affected field or function. Administrator access is required, and exposure is limited to multisite installations or sites where unfiltered_html is disabled; visiting an injected page executes the stored script.
