Authenticated router crash via mac parameter overflow
Published Jun 6, 2025 · Updated Jun 17, 2025
Buffer overflow in TOTOLINK X15 1.0.0-B20230714.1105 allows remote authenticated users to crash the router via an HTTP POST request. The /boafrm/formIpQoS handler processes an attacker-controlled mac argument beyond the bounds of its intended memory buffer. A valid low-privilege session is required, and NVD limits the demonstrated impact to service interruption rather than data disclosure or modification.
