Browser script execution via reflected crafted input
Published Sep 29, 2025 · Updated Sep 29, 2025
Reflected XSS in Esri Portal for ArcGIS 10.9.1 through 11.4 allows remote authenticated users with administrative access to run JavaScript. A crafted string is returned to a browser without sufficient neutralization, but Esri has not disclosed the affected request parameter or rendering path. Administrative access and user interaction are required; exploitation runs attacker-controlled script in the victim browser's Portal security context.
