Incorrect permissions in Red Hat Fuse 7 container images allow local users in the root group to gain root privileges in the container. The image build creates /etc/passwd as group-writable, so a root-group member can append an account with UID 0. Exploitation requires command execution inside an affected container and root-group membership; it grants root control within that container.
