DLL hijacking in Samsung Magician 6.3.0 through 8.3.2 on Windows allows local users to escalate privileges during installation. The Windows Installer creates a temporary folder with weak permissions, allowing a non-admin user to place a DLL that the privileged process loads. Exploitation requires local low-privileged access and an installation event, after which attacker-controlled code runs with elevated privileges.
