Unauthenticated code execution via AJAX parameter SQL injection
Published Aug 28, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
SQL injection in FreePBX EndPoint Manager before 15.0.66, 16.0.89, and 17.0.3 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. The module's AJAX handler passes the unsanitized brand parameter into a database query, allowing injected SQL to create an administrator account and stage command execution. Internet reachability of the administrator panel is required; exploitation permits database manipulation and code execution, with root access dependent on additional system conditions.
