CVE-2025-57810Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Application denial of service via corrupt PNG parsing

Published Aug 26, 2025 · Updated Aug 26, 2025

Denial of service in Parallax jsPDF before 3.0.2 allows remote attackers to interrupt applications by supplying a corrupt PNG. The addImage and html paths pass unvalidated image bytes to the built-in PNG parser, where corrupt data enters very long-running loops and consumes CPU. The application must pass attacker-controlled, unsanitized image data or URLs into an affected method; the interruption is limited to the consuming application.
