CVE-2025-57802Network attack vector

Host file disclosure via unchecked container symlinks

Published Aug 25, 2025 · Updated Aug 25, 2025

Symlink following in Airlink Labs Airlink Daemon 1.0.0 allows attackers with container access to read arbitrary host files. In src/routes/fileSystem.ts, sanitizePath joins an untrusted relative path and checks only its lexical prefix, so later file operations follow links outside /app/data. Exploitation requires access to the affected container and an arbitrary host path bind-mounted at /app/data; exposed data depends on that mount.
