Authenticated command execution via unsanitized cookie concatenation
Published Sep 1, 2025 · Updated Sep 2, 2025
OS command injection in lemon8866 StreamVault before 250822 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through configuration data. CommandUtil.f2cmd concatenates a stored video-platform cookie into a shell command passed through commandos to /bin/sh -c without neutralization. Access to the administrative configuration and invocation endpoints is required; successful exploitation runs commands with the server process's privileges.
