CVE-2025-57765Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Session data theft via unsanitized reflected input

Published Aug 21, 2025 · Updated Aug 21, 2025

Reflected XSS in WeGIA before 3.4.7 allows remote attackers to run scripts in a user's browser through a crafted msg_e URL parameter. The pre_cadastro_adotante.php endpoint places msg_e into its HTTP response without validation or sanitization, causing browsers to execute attacker-supplied markup. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted URL; the script runs in that user's WeGIA context and can access session-visible data or act with that user's permissions.
