Authenticated file disclosure via path traversal
Published Nov 7, 2025 · Updated Nov 7, 2025
Path traversal in QNAP Qsync Central 5.0.x before 5.0.0.3 allows remote authenticated users to read unexpected files and system data. QNAP has not published the affected request handler, path parameter, or the file-path validation operation that fails. A valid user account and network access to the NAS are required; the documented consequence is file-content disclosure, not modification or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
