CVE-2025-57704

Local file disclosure via external entity resolution

Published Aug 26, 2025 · Updated Aug 27, 2025

XML external entity injection in Delta Electronics EIP Builder 1.11 and earlier allows attackers to read local files through crafted EIP files. The EIP file parser resolves an attacker-supplied external entity URI and embeds the retrieved content into the parsed document. Exploitation requires a user to open the malicious file, and disclosure occurs with the EIP Builder process's file-access rights.
