Unauthenticated command execution via unchecked domain parameter
Published Sep 22, 2025 · Updated Sep 22, 2025
Command injection in affected LB-Link router firmware allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via the management interface. The unauthenticated /goform/set_serial_cfg handler passes the domain field through bs_SetSerial and snprintf to bl_do_system and system without strict validation. Adjacent-network access is sufficient to start telnetd with a root shell, giving complete control of the router.
