Stored XSS via unescaped progress-bar width
Published Jul 18, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in WP Wham Crowdfunding for WooCommerce 3.1.14 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via width. The progress-bar shortcode accepts its width attribute and emits it into page markup without sufficient sanitization or contextual output escaping. Contributor-level access is required to store the payload; the script then runs in the browser of anyone who opens the affected page.
