CVE-2025-57636Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated command execution via unsanitized time parameter

Published Sep 23, 2025 · Updated Sep 23, 2025

OS command injection in D-Link DI-7100G firmware C1 dated 2020-02-21 allows remote attackers to execute commands via the time parameter. The jhttpd sub_47F028 function inserts the untrusted parameter into an echo command with sprintf and passes the resulting string to system without validation or escaping. Network access to the device HTTP service is required; crafted input can start Telnet, reboot the router, or execute other operating-system commands.
