Unauthenticated service interruption via macFilterList buffer overflow
Published Sep 10, 2025 · Updated Jul 5, 2026
Buffer overflow in Tenda F3 firmware 12.01.01.48_multi and later allows remote attackers to read or alter data and interrupt service. The goform/setNAT handler processes attacker-controlled macFilterList data with an unchecked buffer copy, overflowing its destination. No authentication or user interaction is required, but triggering has high complexity and the public record does not establish code execution.
