Administrator code execution via theme file overwrite
Published Oct 17, 2025 · Updated Oct 17, 2025
Code injection in the PluXml CMS theme editor allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to execute system commands. The editor accepts supplied PHP as theme content and overwrites /themes/defaut/css/minify.php without restricting executable code. Administrator privileges are required; requesting the modified server-side file executes attacker-controlled PHP and can fully compromise the CMS host.
