Router crash via HTTP parameter stack overflow
Published Sep 19, 2025 · Updated Sep 19, 2025
Stack overflow in Tenda AC6 firmware 15.03.05.16_multi allows remote attackers to crash the router through crafted SetCfm HTTP parameters. The formSetCfm handler in httpd allows the funcname, funcpara1, and funcpara2 inputs to overrun stack storage. Exploitation requires no privileges or user interaction; the CVE reports service interruption, while the proof author also claims code execution.
