Unauthenticated service interruption via crafted API requests
Published Sep 25, 2025 · Updated Sep 25, 2025
Uncontrolled resource consumption in O-RAN ric-plt-submgr J-Release allows remote attackers to interrupt service via crafted API requests. Published records identify the Subscription Manager API as the request locus but do not disclose which resource is consumed or which handler fails to bound it. The API is network-reachable without authentication or user interaction, and exploitation affects availability without reported data exposure or modification.
