CVE-2025-57440Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated device control via plaintext Telnet commands

Published Sep 22, 2025 · Updated Oct 28, 2025

Missing authentication in Blackmagic Design ATEM Mini Pro 2.7 allows remote attackers to control the device through TCP port 9993. The ATEM Ethernet Protocol 1.0 Telnet service accepts plaintext control commands without verifying credentials, including commands for streaming, recording, disk formatting, and reboot. Network access to port 9993 is sufficient; resulting actions can redirect or stop streams, erase attached storage, alter recordings, or shut down the switcher.
