Unauthenticated firmware manipulation via default Telnet credentials
Published Sep 29, 2025 · Updated Sep 29, 2025
Default credentials in Each Italy Wireless Mini Router WIRELESS-N 300M 28K.MiniRouter.20190211 allow remote attackers to access the Telnet debug shell. The port 23 service is enabled by default and accepts the factory admin credentials, then exposes spi and reg commands that read, write, or erase flash and manipulate registers. With network reachability and unchanged factory credentials, attackers can corrupt firmware, brick the device, or alter its security configuration.
