Session hijacking via stored LTA number script
Published Sep 29, 2025 · Updated Sep 29, 2025
Stored XSS in HBI Consulting MyCourts before the August 2025 release allows remote authenticated users to steal viewing users' sessions. The /my_profile_settings_process.asp handler stores the LTA_number value without sanitization, and profile pages render it as executable script. A low-privileged account can plant the payload; a logged-in viewer must open the profile, after which script-readable session cookies enable session hijacking.
