Administrator session compromise via unescaped User-Agent logs
Published Sep 23, 2025 · Updated Sep 23, 2025
Stored XSS in the S-Cart Admin Log Viewer 10.0.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run script in an administrator's browser. The AdminLogController index method inserts the stored user_agent value into the log-view table without HTML encoding, while the logging middleware persists the User-Agent header. An attacker needs an authenticated path that creates a log entry, and execution requires an administrator to open the log page; resulting script can act in that administrator's browser context.
