CVE-2025-57392Public exploit

Local privilege escalation via writable installation binaries

Published Sep 10, 2025 · Updated Sep 10, 2025

Incorrect file permissions in BenimPOS Masaustu 3.0.x allow local users to gain elevated code execution by replacing application binaries. The installation directory assigns FILE_ALL_ACCESS to Everyone and BUILTIN\Users, permitting modification or replacement of its executable and DLL files. A standard local account must plant a replacement and wait for another user or an elevated context to launch the application, which runs attacker-controlled code with that context's privileges.
