Service interruption via prototype-polluting event identifiers

Prototype pollution in mpregular 0.2.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to interrupt service through crafted event identifiers. The mp.addEventHandler function accepts attacker-controlled event identifier paths and writes properties through them without blocking modification of Object.prototype. Exploitation requires a consuming application to pass remote input into this function; the published consequence is denial of service, with no reported confidentiality or integrity impact.
