CVE-2025-5731

Password disclosure via failed command error

Published Jun 26, 2025 · Updated Jan 8, 2026

Information disclosure in Infinispan CLI before 15.2.5 allows local users to read a Kubernetes-secret password through an error message. The CLI Base64-decodes the secret, retains the password in plaintext, and embeds it in a command string reported when command lookup fails. Exploitation requires local low-privilege access and a CLI operation that consumes the Kubernetes secret; password disclosure is the only reported impact.
