Administrative access via source-IP impersonation
Published Sep 9, 2025 · Updated Sep 9, 2025
Authentication bypass in LB-Link BL-CPE300M AX300 router firmware allows remote attackers on the same network to gain administrative access. In firmware version BL-R8800_B10_ALK_SL_V01.01.02P42U14_06, the web management interface authorizes protected requests solely by matching the client source IP to an authenticated user, without checking a session token, cookie, or client identity. Remote attackers who can reuse that LAN address obtain the administrator's ability to read logs, change router configuration, and reboot the device.
