Stored JavaScript execution via unencoded product names
Published Sep 22, 2025 · Updated Sep 24, 2025
Stored XSS in ui-lib Stocky POS 5.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in other users' browsers. The product-creation endpoint stores unsanitized product names, and downstream product views render those values without contextual output encoding. Exploitation requires valid credentials and a user who views the malicious product; executed script can access browser-visible data or act with that user's application privileges.
