CVE-2025-57175Public exploit

Root shell via static root password

Published Apr 8, 2026 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

Use of a hard-coded password in Siklu EtherHaul 8010 firmware allows physically proximate attackers to obtain a root shell. The embedded Linux login prompt accepts a static password for the root account through the J7 UART console. Physical access to the appliance and a UART adapter are required; successful authentication grants unrestricted control of the underlying operating system.
