CVE-2025-5717

Authenticated code execution via unrestricted Java invocations

Published Sep 23, 2025 · Updated Sep 23, 2025

Code injection in WSO2 API and Siddhi products allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code through the event processor service. The Siddhi JavaScript engine accepts Java invocations from execution plans because it is created without the no-Java restriction. Exploitation requires an administrator account with SOAP Admin Services access and yields arbitrary code execution on the server.
