Administrator-session script execution via unsanitized fullname
Published Sep 3, 2025 · Updated Apr 6, 2026
Stored XSS in PHPGurukul Complaint Management System 2.0 allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript in an administrator's browser. The user profile update stores the fullname value, and admin/userprofile.php inserts it directly into HTML without sanitization or output encoding. A user account is required to submit the payload, which executes when an administrator views the attacker's profile and can act within that browser session.
