Unauthenticated RCE via JDBC response deserialization
Published Sep 8, 2025 · Updated Sep 8, 2025
JDBC deserialization in Ruisitech rsbi-os 4.7 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through the data-source test endpoint. The endpoint accepts an attacker-supplied MySQL JDBC URL that enables autoDeserialize and ServerStatusDiffInterceptor, then connects to a malicious MySQL server whose response supplies a serialized gadget payload. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful deserialization runs code with the application process privileges.
