Unauthenticated service interruption via staticRouteGateway stack overflow
Published Sep 9, 2025 · Updated Sep 9, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda G3 3.0br_V15.11.0.17 allows remote attackers to interrupt service via a crafted request. The overflow is localized to the staticRouteGateway parameter in formSetStaticRoute; public materials do not disclose the unsafe memory operation or missing bounds check. No authentication or user interaction is required; malformed static-route input can interrupt the router, although the record does not distinguish a crash from a hang or reboot.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
