Service interruption via unbounded portMappingIndex copy
Published Sep 9, 2025 · Updated Sep 10, 2025
Stack overflow in Tenda G3 3.0br_V15.11.0.17 allows remote attackers to interrupt service via a crafted portMappingIndex request. The formDelPortMapping handler passes the attacker-controlled portMappingIndex value to strcpy without a length bound, overflowing a stack buffer. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented consequence is limited to service interruption rather than data access or modification.
