CVE-2025-57060Network attack vector

Device crash via oversized DNS forwarding rules

Published Sep 9, 2025 · Updated Sep 10, 2025

Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda G3 3.0br_V15.11.0.17 allows remote attackers to crash the device via a crafted request. The dns_forward_rule_store function processes an oversized rules parameter past a stack buffer's capacity. The request needs no authentication or user interaction, and the documented consequence is an availability-only device crash rather than data access or code execution.
