Authenticated file read and write via path traversal
Published Sep 19, 2025 · Updated Sep 19, 2025
Path traversal in Sync-in Server 1.1.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read and write files outside managed storage. FilesManager.saveMultipart and FilesManager.compress use attacker-controlled path input without enforcing that the resolved destination remains within the authorized storage root. A valid account is the stated gate; CISA's separate CVSS assessment instead records no privileges required.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
