Authenticated code execution via page buffer overflow
Published Jun 5, 2025 · Updated Jun 6, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda CH22 firmware 1.0.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via the page parameter. The formNatlimit handler at /goform/Natlimit processes an overlong page value past the bounds of a stack buffer. Low-privileged access to the management interface is required, and successful memory corruption grants code execution in the router process.
