Stored XSS via unsanitized HTML attributes
Published Jun 26, 2025 · Updated Jun 26, 2025
Stored XSS in Drupal Klaro Cookie & Consent Management before 3.0.7 allows remote authenticated users to run script via crafted HTML. Its markup rewriting path returns certain attacker-supplied HTML attributes without sufficient sanitization, leaving script-capable attributes in rendered pages. The attacker needs a role permitted to enter HTML tags with the affected attributes; viewing stored content then executes code in a visitor's browser.
