Cryptographic weakness in Reolink Desktop Application 8.18.12 allows local users to decrypt encrypted configuration data. The fetchAesIv path invokes window.napiDecrypt.getAesIv(), which the researcher reports returns one repeated value for AES-CFB operations. Application-environment access is required; Reolink states that the value is instead generated randomly for each installation, so the finding is disputed.
