Authenticated code execution via unchecked Groovy evaluation
Published Jun 5, 2025 · Updated Jun 5, 2025
Code injection in AgileBPM 2.0 through 2.5.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary Groovy code through a script request. SysScriptController.executeScript passes the request's script parameter through GroovyScriptEngine.evaluate to GroovyShell.evaluate without validation or a sandbox. Reaching the endpoint requires a valid bearer token; successful code runs with the server process's privileges and can read, change, or delete host data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
