MFA bypass via replayed authentication response
Published Sep 3, 2025 · Updated Sep 3, 2025
Authentication bypass in One Identity Safeguard for Privileged Passwords Appliance 7.5.1.20903 allows remote authenticated users to skip MFA. The report replaces a later 400 OTP failure with a captured 200 response from an earlier valid login, after which the client displays access. The supplier disputes the finding because access follows possession of a still-valid HttpOnly session cookie, which it considers intended behavior.
